First Congregational Church

First Congregational Church is architecturally and historically significant as one of Minneapolis’s earliest churches. The congregation was established in 1851and erected its current place of worship in 1886. This Richarsonian Romanesque church with Gothic spire was designed by architect Warren H. Hayes, whose many designs also include Central Presbyterian Church, Saint Paul and Wesley United Methodist Church, Minneapolis.
